Our History
Founded in 2020, (AWA) Assault Wrestling Alliance started in Houston Texas on Friday the 13th, 2021. Several tournaments took place that night to crown the first ever AWA World Heavyweight Title, AWA World Cruiserweight title & AWA Tag Team Titles. The Next AWA show took place that December 2021 featuring WWE HOFer Mr. USA Tony Atlas. Since then WWE, AEW, TNT & ECW superstars have visited the home of AWA passionately known as the ASSAULT ASYLUM in Waldorf Maryland. AWA continues to bring LIVE action packed events throughout the year.
